Olya is helping to support and equip Ukrainian military / rescue dogs. She is raising funds to help provide tactical leashes and harnesses as well as body armor for these dogs that are essential to both soldiers and civilians in Ukraine. She continues to build a network of donors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, fellow animal supporters and vets both inside Ukraine and abroad. Olya also works with Jaguar Dogs Canine Training Center who provide the skills needed to canine teams to perform their search and rescue, security and explosives detection duties. In July of 2022 my neighbors held a fundraiser for Ukraine. The goal was a lofty 20k and they raised a whopping 11k. Having seen the effort they put in I wondered how I could help get us to 20k. So my roller hockey friends and teammates came up with Ukraine Game, two charity roller hockey games that raised just under 9k!
